Famed directors to act in ‘Milaga’

After ‘Mayandi Kudumbathaar’, another set of directors are gearing up to make their appearance on the big screen. Director cum actor Ravi Mariya is planning to cast few well-known film-makers in his next project titled ‘Milaga’.

Directors Singam Puli, Jegannath, Nanda Periyasamy and G. M. Kumar will don the grease paint for playing the major characters in the movie. Also in the movie are ‘Naalai’ Natraj, ‘Mayandi Kudumbathaar’ Poongodi, Ilvarasau, ‘Naan Kadavul’ Thaandavan, ‘Veyyil’ Venkatesh and ‘Anjathey’ Sridhar. The first schedule is expected to be finished at one stretch, in the locales of Madurai.

Sabesh-Murali handles the music scores while Cameraman Ranga’s son, Balaji V Ranga takes care of the cinematography. Talking about the movie, Ravi Mariya said, “Milaga is based on an ordinary cinema, with a spicy story that will not have cinematic enhancement.”

After acting in ‘Veyyil’, ‘Sandai’, ‘Mayandi Kudumbathaar’, Ravi Mariya is back in his director’s seat. But he will return to the screen with a meaty role in Director Nanda Periyasamy’s ‘Mathiyosi’ as a transgender.
